which version of KVIrc did you try?
KVirc is not too buggy, it is ubuntu delivering the second time a broken version.

Try a freshly build from http://www.rzuser.uni-heidelberg.de/~xt1/ubuntu/

Greetings ambo

I also use uTorrent in Ubuntu v9.10 using Wine. I'm happy with uTorrent but it is all about performance. I saw some tests done between uTorrent, Ktorrent, Deluge, Transmission, and others and uTorrent consistently came out faster. The look of Deluge is a knock off of uTorrent, which is a good thing, less learning curve and a good UI that helps you get the most out of the application. I use Deluge on occassion and is my preferred linux client, but use uTorrent most of the time for performance. I think both are great programs. Jim from PA.
